DESCRIPTIONvaorta vaorta finds a seed point inside the aortic lumen at carina level from a map image by fitting the largest circle into the unlabeled region close to veterbra and lung. The input is a chest map (lungs, airway, fat, bone), a binary vertebrae map, a binary lung map and the y, z coordinates of the carina computed by vcarina. The output is the x, y coordinates of the seed point and the estimated radius (pixel) of the largest circle.
Input file if is a standard chest map image(VXB). Input file iv is a binary vertebrae map. Input file il is a binary lung map.
