VCTNODATAVisionX V4
NAME
vctnodata − segments the outside region on a CT scan
SYNOPSISvctnodata [if=<inputimage>] [of=<outputmask>] [-f] [-v]
DESCRIPTIONvctnodata segments the homogeneous region on the periphery of a CT scan outside the reconstruction cylinder. The algorithm is as follows. For each of four corners of the image it checks if the axial profile is homogeneous (same pixel value). If so, the homogeneous region connected to the corner is segmented as the periphery mask. The output mask combined from the mask of four "homogeneous" corners.
OPTIONS
if= |
input CT scan image |
|||
of= |
output binary periphery mask |
|||
-f |
fast algorithm (should produce same results ) |
|||
-v |
verbose output |
|||
-d |
debug mode |
Only to be used on unprocessed CT scans. Will not work if the the outside region intensity is within normal image range.
