VCVIEWVisionX V4 NAME

vcview − 3D visualization for chest maps

SYNOPSIS

vcview [if=<mapfile>] nl=<region-list> [of=<outputfile>] [-i] [-a] [-c] [-s] [-v] [-cp] [-sl] [-br] [-aw] [-vt] [-rv] [ln]

DESCRIPTION

Vcview computes 3D visualizations for chest maps. It uses v3view and the render engine VTK. Selected image regions (up to 10) may be rendered in different colors. The development colors are selected in sequence for different labeled regions. By default a faint view of the ribs and lungs is also included in the visualization for spatial reference. These may be omitted by the -b flag.

CONSTRAINTS OPTIONS

if=<infile>

A chest label map file.

of=<outfile>

The output file is in visionx color format unless -gif is specified.

nl=<region list>

A list of region labels for the entities to be visualized. These are defined by vlmap -l.

s=[x[,y]]

The size option as specifies the size in pixels of the resulting file. If on x is specified then y is set to the same value.

-i

interactive mode: display using vtk, do not generate an output file.

-a

compute an axial view image only.

-c

compute an coronal view image only.

-s

compute a right sagittal view image only.

-sl

compute a left sagittal view image only.

-cp

compute a coronal posterior view image only.

-br

compute a breast region visualization.

-aw

compute an airway visualization.

-vt

compute a vertebra visualization.

-rv

compute a ribs and vertebra visualization.

-ln

compute a lungs visualization.

-gif

GIF image format for output otherwise visionx.

-b

no background

-br

show the breast review region

-bl

bold lung region -bb bold bone

-v

verbose flag, provides information on actions.
