vdown − downsamples an image

SYNOPSIS

vdown [if=<inputimage>] [s=] [-w]

DESCRIPTION

vdown performs image downsampling (reduction) by averaging. The reduction scale (integer) in x and y direction is set by s= (default 2) and the z reduction scale is computed accordingly to maintain the xy to z resolution. If z scale is less than 1, it is set to 1.

OPTIONS

	if=		input intensity image
	s=		reduction scale (default 2)
	-w		wish flag for reduction scale (xs,ys,zs)
