vfindex − Compute frame index information for a multi-frame file |
vfindex if=infile of=outfile |
Vfindex extracts the index of the first byte for each frame from a contiguous series of frames of a VisionX image file. This makes a list of frames and their starting index for use by vfclip. This is called by vindex as part of the indexing process. The output is in the form of: frame[framenum]=[start byte]. Note: The frame number is a count of frames into the file (the first frame is 1), and not the frame number as returned by the frame marker. |
if=<input filename> |
specifies name of a VisionX file containing multiple frames marked as VX_FRAME. |
of=<output file> |
specifies the output filename. Default is stdout. |
