VVESSELDETVisionX V4
NAME
vvesseldet - discriminates a nodule from a vessel given a 3D structure from a whole lung CT scan.
SYNOPSISvvesseldet [if=] [d=] [c=] [xz=] [th=] [-g] [-2d] [-a] [-i] [-d] [-v] [-w] [t=]
DESCRIPTIONvvesseldet discriminates a nodule from a vessel given a 3D structure from a lung CT scan. Either geometrical [-g] or density moment (default) analysis techniques are used for this purpose.
Spherical (or Ellipsoidal depending on the inplane and axial resolution) region is first clipped out by generating a kernel of equal size using either vgsphere [-a] or vgen3d (default). The program outputs the aspect ratios of the three dimensions of the ellipsoids of inertia.
