DESCRIPTIONvvtseg determines the dividing planes based on the analysis of image intensity profile and vertebra height variations of normal human anatomy. A seed vertebra around the axial level of carina is first segmented. It then sequentially determines the dividing planes starting from the seed vertebra in the superior and inferior direction respectively.
