NAME
vxlpa − computes the lung profile, and critical locations
SYNOPSISvxlpa if=<lungregion> of=<outfile> oh=<smoothedprof> ct=<textprofile> -w
DESCRIPTIONvxlpa takes in a separate lung and computes the lung profile based on area of the lung region across axial slices. Then using the output lung profile (ot), apex of each diaphragm is computed and the higher apex is used as top of the diaphragm.
The -w option prints characteristics of the lung profile to standard out.
CONSTRAINTInput file if is a binary image of a single lung (left or right). Output text file ot is used to find the top of diaphragm (depreciated).
